mobileAxept is the company behind IMS™, Intelligent Message Service™(patent pending), - "the next generation SMS". IMS delivers textual (or graphical) information securely, inexpensively, and efficiently to SMS enabled mobile handsets, i.e. almost all cell phones. Users may also get information delivered over MMS, WAP, GPRS or UMTS. IMS is based on new technology originally developed by mobileAxept AS.

The Company was created in 2003 by a group of technology experts and businessmen, with over 100 years combined experience in his market. Today, mobileAxept has grown and has partnerships with IBM PWIN, Globally, EDT (Elektroniske Distribusjonstjenester AS, the primary supplier of ATM technology and equipment in Scandinavia, e.g. with over 90% market coverage in Norway and Denmark), and others.
