All communication between all parties involved in mobileAxept system is carried out over secure lines of communication. This is achieved in that all communication between mobileAxept and external actors is encrypted with Secure Socket Layer (SSL) / Transport Layer Security (TLS).

This is a cryptographic protocol for secure exchange of information over the Internet.

DIBS is the leading payment service provider in Scandinavia, certified by banks and card acquirers to handle secure payment transactions. DIBS is one of the first providers of payment services that went through the VISA and Mastercard PCI certification. PCI (Payment Card Industry) certification is a comprehensive program that aims to improve data security among suppliers of payment.


DIBS received their PCI authorization after a certified IT auditor from a comprehensive checklist checked and approved the internal and external security. The checklist includes more than 200 points and affects the overall IT security from six main groups.

Beyond PCI certification Dibs have focused on secure payment whose purpose is to protect consumer payments. For example, the 3-D Secure program and proprietary security modules such as anti-fraud and Defender.

All information that the the end user sends by a mobileAxept registration is sent directly to DIBS.

mobileAxept is at all times operated and monitored in a secure environment behind the firewall of WebDeal AS. WebDeal AS has a continuously monitoring and is operational responsible for the system. WebDeal guarantees 99.5% uptime on the system on 24 / 7 basis.
